Texting from Kindwork
These are the terms for the Kindwork text program. They are part of our Terms of service, and our Privacy policy says how we handle your number.
Effective October 1, 2026. Last updated October 1, 2026.
What we send
If you switch texting on, we text you:
- your daily list of replies and notes ready for you
- requests to approve a note before it goes out
- answers to what you text us
- notices about your account
Texts come from one Kindwork number, shown on the screen where you switch texting on.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
How to start
Texting is off until you switch it on inside Kindwork and tick an unchecked box yourself. It is never switched on from this website.
The box reads:
It sits beside links to these terms and to our Privacy policy. Our first text confirms it:
Texting is optional, and email does the same job.
How to stop
Text STOP to the Kindwork number at any time to stop. You can also switch texting off in your settings. After STOP we send one last message to confirm, and nothing after it.
Our reply to STOP:
Help
Text HELP to the Kindwork number for help, or email ben@getkindwork.com.
Our reply to HELP:
Support: ben@getkindwork.com
Your consent and your number
When you switch texting on, we keep a record of your consent: the time, the wording you were shown, the number and the account it belongs to.
We do not share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes, and we never sell it. Twilio delivers our texts and sees your number for that purpose only.
The rest is in our Privacy policy.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
